I've tried other places before and so far these guys have been the most honest with me. I bought new tires from them last month and been satisfied with them so far!! Keep up the good work guys!
Was traveling from NY and needed to get my VA safety inspection done once I entered the state. The Tire Shop was great, offered to take care of me, completed my inspection before they closed even though I didn't have an appointment and rolled in an hour before they closed. That level of customer service is rare nowadays...I really appreciated the quick & professional help!
I went into The Tire Shop to have my tires aligned. I dropped my car off with Rusty and headed out to run some errands while I waited. About an hour later I got a call from Rusty. Merchant Tire in Springfield had installed the incorrect tires on my car-- none of the tires they installed were the correct size or speed rating. Dropped my car off here because I thought i needed a timing belt and a different shop (Good Year / VA Tire & Auto off of Algonkian) told me that another one of my belts was torn. The Tire Shop folks were very friendly and seem honest. In fact, they checked out the car and told me there was no torn belt and I didn't need a timing belt given the type of car.
it came in exactly as estimated and I'm happy to pay for quality work. I will definitely use them in the future.
I've been going here ever since I moved to the area, on the recommendation from my father (whose job used to include reviewing/investigating stations to ensure they were up to code). It's a great group of "good ol' boys" who work there and I truly trust them not to take me for a ride - and they never have! I've had 3 different cars, from low-end to luxury, and they haven't tried anything funny no matter what car I brought in. Highly recommend!!
I have been a customer for a few years. I went in today to have windshield wipers replaced and my tire pressures checked. No hassle. Fast,immediate,professional and friendly service. They have always been outstanding. I definitely recommend them! Great folks! :-)
