The absolute best food and personal service in the area. This restaurant is a one of a kind and in a league of its own.
I suppose one of the finest compliments you could pay total restaurant is that I am STILL thinking about a dish I had there, long after I ate it. The quality and complexity of flavors and textures in both dishes we tried were just fabulous. The portions were pretty good for "shi-shi, froo-froo" food. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars was the RIDICULOUS price. And I do mean ridiculous. But, every so often, you get what you paid for.
The Tavern has a 4.7 star rating with 1,537 reviews.
The Tavern is closed now. It will open on Monday at 9:00 a.m.
