Really like the beach views and the atmosphere . I only got drinks and oysters, but both were great. They made a real house Long Island. Left feeling great, and price was good!
The wait was an hour and ten minutes. It was so worth the wait. The food was delicious and fresh. Marie our waitress was really nice and she brought a lot of smiles to our table. The only bad thing was only 5 ppl in a, party are allowed on the patio and there were 7 of us.
We had the Captains Platter! It was delicious and filling!
What's not to love about lunch with a view of The beautiful Emerald Coast...gorgeous view of The white sand beach and waves crashing ashore...table of five...had prompt service and reasonably priced food...I had the peel and eat shrimp...messy but excellent...someone else had the fish sandwich which looked really good so I'll try that next time. I'd say go in between lunch and dinner if you don't want to wait...family friendly...casual....loved it

Great food! Good service. A place to visit when you are in Destin.
We all enjoyed this place so much that we went back again a couple of nights later! We had 10 people on the first night & Scott our waiter was excellent! Very attentive & friendly. The second time our waiter, Artir, was also excellent & friendly & that night we had 12 people! I highly recommend the fried Red Snapper! We loved the open air seating also & being right on the beach.
We had our last lunch in Destin at the Surf Hut after doing some outlet shopping and letting the traffic get out (which worked beautifully). We felt a little overdressed in shorts-shirts-socks-shoes, but it's good to know we can come in beach wear for our next trip. We had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated, but ice water was available on the porch area which was nice. Jessy took good care of us and we enjoyed our meals! Very relaxing and fun atmosphere for our family after a long road trip. Beer selection was great, food was good, and service was wonderful!
