We had the trio tacos, shrimp, burger and kids fried fish, and crab claws for an appetizer. Everything was great. The atmosphere was wonderful. We sat on the outside deck which normally would be open to outside, but it was raining. This was by far one of the best restaurants we went to. It was out last day in Miramar beach and they made our last "beach" meal fantastic. If I could give them more stars I would! As far as pricing it's comparable to every restaurant we ate at. For a family of 5 we spent about $150.
Half the wait that was expected and great service from Matt! They had the best cucumber and onion salad I have ever had! Big Al introduced himself, took family family photos, and told stories. The food is highly recommend, short wait! We will be back next time we are in town! Great family atmosphere too. 😊
Make it a point to celebrate my birthday here. I don't have to say it's a special dayI get treated special every time here. Kudos to the staff they are alert and involved in the flow of the restaurant.
Our family went last night (8/2/17) and the staff was great and very attentive. We were seated very quick. I have a son with special needs, and the manager walked by and noticed he was crying and wanting his chicken and French fries. Next thing I know he came back with his food. That meant so much to us because having a special need child is hard for us to get out in public and enjoy our vacation. The food was amazing. We love The Surf Hut! The food was great and the atmosphere was even better. Such a cool restaurant...we will definitely be return customers in years to come.
It couldn't have worked out any better....location, location, location. They are right on the beach and across the street from the Embassy Suites. Great food, especially the burger and the calamari!! We keep going back for lunch or dinner. The staff was so inviting and quick to seat all 13 of us and get our food out to us so we could get back to enjoying the beach. Highly recommend!!
Don't miss this spot when you visit Destin. Great food, outstanding service, and fabulous location.
