We were charged a fee that they did not ask if we wanted to give to. It was S E A surcharge they said it was to help keep the beaches clean. I thought the city of Destin does that. Than the waitress a rounded off my changed the was due me. They missed up my order never offer to give me a discount. Needless to say I always leave a good tip but I felt like they weren't up front . They shouldn't be assuming everyone wants to donate to the cause. When I know the city cleans our beaches.
Great food and open air to the beach! The cucumber and onion salad is a must on the side!
The food was fabulous and the atmosphere and service was equally wonderful. Our waiter Scott was very good at making you feel that they care and they want to be sure you are satisfied with everything you have on your plate. The quantity is more than you can eat.
Food was excellent! Lively atmosphere. Terrific service😊 We will definitely visit on our next vacation!
As locals we enjoy eating here because the staff is always smiling & kind. The food is always fresh & the Mudslides are yummy!
Thank you for delicious shrimp, mojitos, and sanctuary for our pup on the Monday of hurricane Irma. We were so happy to find a place that was not only open, but had good food, and allowed us to bring in our furbaby after evacuating from South Fla. You are cool in my book, Surf Hut!

We have been frequenting The Surf Hut during are stay in Destin. The food is amazing, drinks always refilled promptly. The GM made us feel most welcome, Cuong and Nicole kept the drinks and oysters coming, and the cutest little waitress Tiffany brought big smiles to our faces! This is a wonderful spot on the beach that you shouldn't miss!
