Clean and comfortable!! – Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we were able to walk to the Custom House Garage (about 10 minutes) to get the bus in the morning to the race start. We were woken up the first night by some rowdy guests, but that could have happened anywhere. Also, we were just down the street from the Del Monte shopping center where there was a Whole Foods, a pharmacy, a P.F. Chang's, and other restaurants. Will not stay anywhere else – My wife and I have stayed at a lot of motels, but this motel has the best beds we have ever slept on. The rooms are old but they are clean. The location is great because it is close to all the fast food breakfast places and other restaurants we like to go to. The staff are friendly and helpful. I can say the only downfall is the parking. If you have a large vehicle it is a hassle to park it, because some of their parking is in a parking garage, and my truck is too tall to fit, and it is a stock ... read more

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The big plus is it's location - within walking distance of downtown Monterey which has great coffee shops through to excellent quality restaurants.

The big plus is it's location - within walking distance of downtown Monterey which has great coffee shops through to excellent quality restaurants. Would definitely stay here again if I was in Monterey, which we loved visiting.

Very positive. – Complimentary breakfast was good with fruit, bread, cereal and juice. Complimentary parking for our car, very positive.
