This hotel is great. Room was large with excellent facilities including free Wifi which worked! Room was also clean, bed very comfortable with free parking at your door. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The big plus is it's location - within walking distance of downtown Monterey which has great coffee shops through to excellent quality restaurants. Would definitely stay here again if I was in Monterey, which we loved visiting.

We only stayed here one night, but we really liked the place and would recommend it as a great value motel in a fantastic location. We didn't hear any noise unlike other guests, and had a very peaceful night. The staff were very helpful and friendly and gave good recommendations for local restaurants etc. The room was a great size, immaculately clean and lovely comfortable beds - the breakfast was more than adequate. No complaints at all.

The staff was friendly, the room was comfortable and spacious, and I loved having a sliding glass door that opens to a small sitting space/balcony.

Is an excellent place to stay!!! – The monterey downtown travelodge is an excellent place to stay!!! Each year, for the past several years, I have stayed there, and I plan to stay there again next year when I return. My wife and are 80 years old, and, at times, it is difficult to find lodging that is so accommodating for seniors as this one is.
