This hotel is great. Room was large with excellent facilities including free Wifi which worked! Room was also clean, bed very comfortable with free parking at your door. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The big plus is it's location - within walking distance of downtown Monterey which has great coffee shops through to excellent quality restaurants. Would definitely stay here again if I was in Monterey, which we loved visiting.

All the rooms have been upgraded and are comfortable. Still a trip back in time when you drive up your mind flashes back to the days when you arrive with mom/dad in the station wagon, they check in and kids make a bee line for the pool!! Rooms are small but very comfortable, new paint, carpet, furniture, pillowtop mattress. Rooms are wi'fi'ed with a very strong connection. Staff friendly and knowledgible. We were pleasantly surprised by the very comfortable beds and the super clean room at your hotel. The continental breakfast with fresh fruit was enjoyable also.

Good location close to most things, walking distance to the peer. Small, quite dark room, but it was clean and with to queen size beds. Very small but clean bathroom and a friendly staff. The included breakfast was ok. Small but heated swimming pool, always very appreciated by the kids.

We were able to walk to fisherman's wharf, which was a really nice walk with boutiques and nice restaurants along the way. I will def. be staying here again.

The rooms were nice and clean. Walking distance to the Wharf and there is an free trolley two blocks away that will take you to Cannery row and the Monterey fish Aquariam.
