I went to Second Line for my birthday this past Friday. Not only was the service great but the food was as good as it gets. The andouille, crawfish, and pimento cheese fries were absolute perfection and everyone in our party loved their entree. We will most definitely be back! Thanks for such a fantastic birthday experience.
They are cheating with the gratuity percentage. It is just a few cents as they are charging 21.8% instead of 20% as states in the bill. But when asking for the reason we realized everyone had the same issue and looks like they are doing this for at least a year!!! Plus they were super rude and literally kicked us out of the place. Check out your bills in this corrupted place!!!!

Sunday Brunch was great! I had never been there on Sunday so I was expecting valet. Drove down Monroe to Cooper and no valet. Turned around and parked close by. Did not know nor see the permit sign. Got a ticket. Met Melanie Roberts there and she parked and got a ticket as well. With all of the Junk Festival crowd we were just glad to park or find a place. Special events it would be nice to have valet. $21.00 each added on to our day only to eat at The Second Line before Central Gardens Home Tour.....that could have been bet... read more
Been waiting to eat here for a while now and it was every bit as good as I had hoped. Kelly English is one of the best Chefs in the city. ✌

So, this review is not about the food (which is admittedly good; I've had it before) but our service experience. As a member of a party of 8, I was made aware by the hostess that they must wait for sufficient space to become available for our party. Hmmm... Seems to me one would begin consolidating tables to accommodate our party (given reservations aren't an option)... But ok...
