Love their biscuits and gravy! Service was excellent and it is a very affordable brunch place.
I keep forgetting about this restaurant. When I moved into my home, I received a discount card to try them out and never got around to it. Finally, remembered it existed and I am so glad that I did. Breakfast was busy on a Saturday. We saw a wait list but were able to find two spots at the bar (which is where I love to sit anyway). We seated at the bar and were instantly greeted. Everything was extremely bland. 3 of us ordered some version of eggs Benedict and all the eggs were grossly over cooked passing into hard boiled egg territory. The hash browns were raw season less potatoes. The bacon and burger were burned to crisp. The server checked on us once, never offered refills and we sat at the table forn20 minutes after being finished waiting for him to bring us the check. The restaurant it's self is beautiful and lively but the food is more than disappointing.
Went for breakfast with a friend and we shared a waffle, cinnamon roll french toast, and loaded hash browns. I had a latte and she had a Pepsi. The waffle was just ok. I ate it, though It had a grainy taste to it. It looked like a fresh regular waffle that had been cooked perfectly. It just tasted almost as if it had cornbread in it. Great service, creative menu, and reasonable prices earn The Roost Nora 5 stars. I had a Breaded Tenderloin Benedict and it was really good as was the fresh fruit! The hash browns were absolutely awful. Yuk. This was my first time ever having a tenderloin and The Roost did it up right — crispy, juicy, and not greasy. My friends had the tenderloin sandwich platter and it was huge! It looked awesome, too.
