The River Inn was the best. This was my first time staying here. The staff was nice, informative, and most of all, professional. They went out of there way to ensure our stay was an enjoyable one. I love it's location in a very quaint neighborhood. It is in walking distance to foggy bottom and George Town. I would most difinitely stay here again.

I can't say enough about The River Inn...from the folks at the door, the restaurant, the desk attendants, housekeeping, EVERYONE was courteous and helpful. Our room was spotless and we'll appointed. Being only 2 blocks from GW Hospital during my husband's surgery was a godsend. The area is well-lit and I was never intimidated walking back and forth to the hospital. There is no doubt that we will stay here again! Thank you, River Inn, for really being our "home away from home."!
Been our go-to place to stay when visiting DC for close to 20 years and still is. It is a hidden gem. Love it. The restaurant as well...never a disappointment...always a delightful experience.
