Terrific location and value. Updated facilities, helpful staff, and great boutique feel in a quaint neighborhood that is accessible to everything. Will be back soon!

We have never met a nicer staff and quality room than The River Inn. We will suggest this place to anyone we know that is coming to DC.
We had a great stay here! The room was very affordable - I have paid more for less. The kitchen is a great bonus and cost saver. It's on a relatively quiet street - though directly across the street from a night club. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms very clean. Staff very friendly. I will definitely stay here every time I visit DC

I stayed here for 4 nights, my first night I arrived late due to a delayed flight, I called ahead and someone stayed back on the desk half an hr which I appreciate, although she was not very happy about it. I had booked a suite with a full kitchen, the room I was given didn’t have any signs of a kitchen and the thermostat was not working so it was a cold night.
