Stayed here several times but feel it’s not as good as it used to be. Service for ski guests and front desk is still amazing but not sure if it’s just that I’ve become more environmentally conscious but this hotel is not. The amount of plastic & excess packaging used to avoid washing up is unacceptable. I took a few photos but can’t find a way of sharing them with you. Horrible service at the bar, waited 15 min just to get noticed. $225.00 lunch that had to be returned a few times. My friend ordered wild boar Nachos and was served chili, plus when we first asked for a bar menu, the bartender said it was buffet only. He clearly was not present, definitely not what I expected from a Ritz!

The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe is a beautiful place to be any time of the year and the staff, across the board, is some of the best!
This is one of the best hotels I’ve been to. Love it and I’ll come back for sure.
Ritz @Tahoe is impeccable in service and convenient for skiing or snowboarding. The room is usual 5 stars but the food should be improved. I would stay at the Ritz every time I visit the slopes.
