My husband, mother and 2-year old daughter enjoyed staying here earlier in the week. It was a wonderful trip! We enjoyed several meals at Coast and at the poolside restaurant as well. The food was amazing. Every member of the staff we encountered was professional, super-helpful and kind. They really know how to treat their guests! They even provide bottled water (FL tap water is not tasty), beach towels, swim diapers and sand toys for the kiddies, so, you can pack fairly light. Everything is excellent from valet, check-in staff, club staff and beach staff. Beds are so comfortable! My only complaint is that there is NO where to get away from all of the kids here! Just tried having a drink in the lobby bar but apparently that's a big congregation area for kids running around everywhere. The club level facility is full of children and even the Pub had kids! The only place they are not allowed is the Spa and Spa pool but the pool area is small and all of the lounge chairs are occupied quickly. Would re... read more

Wish I could give a zero. Description from my mother after she stayed there over the weekend: "I stayed at the Ritz Carlton this past weekend in Amelia Island and unfortunately the bottom of the bed was three inches approximately from the mattress . So on my way to shower broke my toe on the bedframe. It was painful and being a senior citizen i hope it heals.
