Great Concept, Well-Executed – My husband and I ate at Red Room on Valentine's Day. After an initial debacle when they couldn't find our reservation (they later did), our visit was great. Their signature cocktails were unique and delicious. The food was great. We love the tapas concept and think Red Room pulls it off well. Super! – Great tapas place!! The food is excellent - lots of different, powerful flavors. We especially liked the chorizo and sauteed mushrooms. Drinks are really good too - I highly recommend the sangria and microbrew. Service was great. But perhaps the best was the ambience -- new wave Latin music and sleek decor provide a terrific atmosphere for a romantic date or a lively group outing. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Raleigh.
