Great Experience – My friend and I have heard nothing but great things about the Red Room, so we decided to try it. Great choice! We came in on a Wednesday night and they were offering this amazing special. Spanish tapas coursed out and served with half glasses of wine. Not only was the food, wine and service amazing the music was great too! they were offering free salsa lessons as well!! Not only was the decor beautiful the staff and food was also. We had a great time and plan on going back for the late nite scene on the we... read more
Fake NY scene. – I was highly disappointed. First of all, the bouncers are starved for attention. They are type that think they are owners when in all actuality they are employees. The Latin night on Thursday is completely garbage. Small dance floor, food cold, and poor music. Overall this place is for lames & their friends.
Sunday, Sunday, Sunday.... – This review is more restaurant based then Friday/Saturday night based. If you're going to eat here you can't beat coming on Sunday. Sunday nights they have their "unlimited Tapas" from 6-10. For 15.00 they'll keep bringing tapas to your table until you tell them to stop. We stumbled in on it one Sunday and come back on a quite regular basis. Some of the items are hit or miss-like the guacamole deviled eggs (thumbs up), but the next weeks asparagus and crab meat deviled eggs tested my gag reflex. ... read more
Wonderful Experiance – Stumbled in on accident, decided to stay and it was a good choice. The atmosphere is excellent, not a detail is missed, keeping with the Red theme throughout the restaurant. We ordered 4 tapas items, all of wish were wonderful. I highly recommend the stuffed peppers and the spinch feta dip.
Pleasant Surprise – My husband and I happened upon this place while looking for a restaurant open on a Sunday evening for an anniversary dinner. We found the Red Room, sat outside, and ordered a tasty Spanish white wine. Each of the tapas we ordered - olives, seafood antipasto, and cheese plate - were excellent, although the antipasto was the best. Shrimp Ceviche was really tasty. Service was good, albeit a little slow. Overall, it was a pleasant surprise for us, and we would definitely go back.
User review by shoshana6 – The food is good and inventive, and the restaurant's interior and atmosphere is enjoyable. The service is very slow and the staff is not the friendliest or quickest that I've experienced in the Glenwood area.
Dont forget the customers! – We went last night for dinner and drinks. It wasnt very busy.. perhaps 40% occupied.. We still had to wait over 30 minutes just to get a drink!! When we finally did get a drink they werent even what we ordered!! Red Room is WAY over hyped.. not recommended at all
Hideous Food - Absolutely Hideous – I would not take the time to write this, but the food at the Red Room was absolutely disgusting. There was no flavor, the filet tapas was a joke, the crab dip even more so, scallops tasteless, shrimp were shrunk b/c tehy were over cooked, carpaccio was ok, calamari was ok, we continued to order things, hoping to find something that was good. Our bill for two people was well over $100, with no alcoholic drinks (maybe that would of helped). Let me say that I had worked in bars and restaurant... read more
Latin?? – Great atmosphere but the Thursday night Latin DJ is no bueno. His mixes and transitions are not smooth......no flow. Same stuff every week. Also It takes about 5-10 min to get a drink @ bar, order through a coctail waitress and the drink will come alot faster. Food is great.
