Iconic hotel and I like the ambiance. Like that they try to keep the old charme. But they have to try harder!! The small room need some fresh paint and at least a new carpet. Nice but empty terass. Buy some plants and some more outdoor furniture. Small but nice renovated bathroom. Garden and pool are lovely but the pool doesn t look so clean... Stained cushions in the sunchairs make it less inviting e t c. Nice hotel that needs some more Love!

Great pool, bar, and beautifully kept common areas. Same can not be said about the quality of service or the hotel rooms-- staff was rude and unprofessional from our first minute through the door. The room was tiny and the furniture and carpet looked trashed (stains, scratches, etc...). Does not at all meet the same expectations as other SBE group properties I have visited--- you're better off spending a bit more for the SLS down the block. We expressed these concerns to the desk staff who acted indifferent....
We took a pool day pass and that was an excellent decision for Columbus Day.
