Located along the Magnificent Mile, this lively tapas-style restaurant is aptly named, specializing in "Cheese, Swine & Wine," but also serving a large selection of pork-free options. The prices are reasonable, with most dishes under ten dollars, and there's an extensive wine list. Sit at the communal tables and share some delicious Mediterranean dishes at one of the top restaurants in the county.

great food and place to eat in the city. It is expensive though
Just had a fantastic dinner at the Purple Pig. It's now my daughters favorite place too. Great food and great service!
I came here at about four in the afternoon knowing it was a really popular place. Although I was seated at the bar right away, they had crammed so much seating at the restaurant that I still felt my chair being banged against every 30 seconds or so. I had the octopus dish, which was interesting in and of itself, but tasted just okay. That, combined with the atmosphere, makes me think this isn't the number one stop to make in chicago.
Que gran Lugar... La especialidad el Tuétano al Grill... Si vas a Chicago, no debes dejar de ir... De preferencia, hacer reservación...
So much good food, and wine here. I can't even remember everything that I ate, but I can tell you that my favorites were the pork belly, and the broccoli was the best broccoli I have ever had in my life.
Absolutely amazing! Haven't had any better service and food combined. Definitely coming back the next time in town. Thank you again!
This was my first time in Chicago and we happened to come across the purple pig. Omg best food ever. It takes a lot to leave me speechless and the dessert definitely left me that way. The scilian iris is perfection and nothing can compete with it or as our waitress says "it's like dropping the mic on Chicago"
Totally overrated!!! Yes it is the "in" place to be, yes the food is good but service was awfull, and amount of food was stunted.
Generosity: a inexusable quality for people and business, this place in completly lack of it , plates way to small. Waitress clueless in kind service...
