This is my first time to visit your well talked about place with party of 10 Friends and family who came from New York, Virginia, Texas and New Jersey for lunch in the Windy City but the customer service sucks . All of them got their food except my Milk braised Pork Shoulder . We remind our waiter , the manager , bus boy whoever we can asked to follow up my order said it's coming but nothing came . Great food - mainly spanish with a bit of greek, Italian & Chicago land thrown in, and a great winelist. Very busy and vibrant atmosphere.
We were beginning to give up on Chicago and the food experience until we ate at The Purple Pig, wow the food just melted in your mouth, we had the pork shoulder, turkey leg & broccoli. The service was excellent! I would highly recommend it.

This establishment is off the hook! Service, wine recommendations, food INCREDIBLE!! I had heard from a chef friend to make this a must when in Chicago. He was spot on! The food was magnifico! The dessert to die for! Our server was amazing and the place was packed! It was a birthday treat and so worth it! We will definitely be back the next time in the city! Grazie for a FABULOUS birthday treat!! (I will be dreaming of that milk braised pork)
We ordered a variety of meats and cheeses and they were all great. We also ordered the octopus and it was the best we have ever had. The pig cheek was interesting but I'm not much into fried foods. The wine selection was excellent as well. Great atmosphere both inside and on the patio. I look forward to going back!
Very knowledgeable accommodating and friendly staff. Everything we tried, intrigued the taste buds for everything else on the menu. Great sharing menu. Excellent quality and service with very reasonable prices. Ready for our next time visit!
After many attempts finally had the opportunity to have dinner with my wife and it was awesome.
