I saw this place on Food Network and had to try it. I was concerned when they said I had to wait for almost 3 hours, but I've never waited anywhere that was as worth the wait as the Purple Pig!!!! If you are in Chicago, take a few friends and just try things! Worth every dime!!!
One of my favorite restaurants! Living in NYC my standards for food is high, and The Purple Pig is one of my favorite restaurants. Whenever I visit Chicago this is my first stop for food. Not only is the food amazing, but the staff and owners are always above and beyond with their service.
One of our absolute favorites in the city! A wonderful spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of Michigan Ave. Great food, impeccable service, excellent wine selection, and an environment that is the perfect amount of cozy and energetic.

Every time I travel to Chicago, I make it a point to visit the Pig. Aside from the Purple Pig, there aren't many restaurants in the US that make me feel like I am instantly transported to a small, family run restaurant on the banks of the Mediterranean.
