The WiFi is garbage. They use a service provider called Airwaves and it has never been great but lately it has not worked at all. I've also had packages stolen from me before because they are left on the front porch and not taken to the office. The apartments themselves are okay but the couch is very uncomfortable and the doors have huge gaps in the bottom of them. This is the 3rd year that my son has been living at the Province and overall it has been a very rewarding experience. He has had great roommates and the location and the amenities have been wonderful. Parking can sometimes be a pain and I don't know the best way to solve that problem. The location to the campus and Dowdy Ficklen are super convenient. I feel like we have gotten what we pay for. My daughter stays there and I will soon be moving my other daughter there. The rent is very high, but with a location right across the street so she's not late to class, I can't get any better. Maintence is free all the way to a light bulb change and they always do their best to help her get the room she desires. I'm mostly excited about its location to ECU and how they treated my family when we came down to visit. Hopefully next year rent will be reasonable for my other daughter to live there as well!
My friend stays in the Province and if I attended ECU I would definitely be living here too! It's so close to campus and everywhere you need to go. It's also in a safe area and has great amenities.
I wish I had never put my daughter in these apartments. They are sneaky, underhanded, and completely unconcerned with the safety and well being of their residents. For the latest example....she signed her lease on the last possible day to renew and THE NEXT DAY my daughter receives an email about tightening the towing policy. There are not enough parking spaces to begin with, then they sell passes to commuters. Their suggestion is to park along the street, however that is City of Greenville parking!
