Really great service and yummy food too. Salad bar and cinnamon rolls too good.

Visit each year during Railroad Days. Food is good & service is normally acceptable. This year was a different story - salad bar was lacking dressings for over 10 minutes, drinks were delayed and after an indifference as to how the bill is calculated, probably will not return. Automatic 18% gratuity was added to our party of 6, and unfortunately for our waitress who was doing her best, the service on behalf of the restaurant was not deserving of 18%. Such a great salad bar that I had to bring the burger home.
Awesome place to eat! We brought my aunt to Amtrack station & walked over to eat. The building was Awesome we loved how you kept the integrity of the past with present.The food was Excellent and our server I think her name was Kimberly was Very Friendly, Polite & Attentive!! We will definitely be eating there on our next trip to Galesburg.
Been here numerous times over the past year and the chef cooks the steaks perfect every time. Salad bar is the best around. I have nothing but positive reviews about The Packinghouse. Can't wait till next!!
