Wonderful new rooftop lounge but sad to see the former lounge depart...oh well. Progress happens.
To say The Peninsula was an incredible hotel just doesn’t do them justice. Professional, exquisite, friendly, luxurious.,.i could go on and on. From state of the art room controls, beautiful views of Downtown Chicago.. and perfect location for dining and shopping.. it was worth every penny. We stayed for three nights for our Anniversary. The only down side was that their pool was closed due to maintenance. But that really didn’t affect our stay. Anything less than five stars for this hotel is unacceptable. Everyone was friendly from the doorman to the front desk. Rooms are full of technology that keeps a business man running, beds are wonderful, bathroom is amazing. I will put this at the top of my hotel list
I’m French and when I’m homesick the taste of the pastries at pierrot gourmand bring me back home, it’s that good. Go enjoy 😊.
