Truly a luxury hotel ! My only complaint would be when bad weather TV won't work ( which sucked for me since I was lounging for a day doing nothing but watch TV in bed and soak bath my birthday gift to do nothing and enjoy spa ) and at least in my room my cell phone only works by window. Other then that this place is simple elegant and very classy One other note is the soak tub in room needs a a bath pillow I kept slipping and sinking and head did not rest well on ledge
Thank you Peninsula for a spectacular weekend. This place is a notch above the other Chicago Hotels. Everything was perfect, the service, the room, the dining options. The location can't be beat! The room was gorgeous, comfortable and pristine. I highly recommend the restaurant Shanghai Terrace to anyone staying at the hotel, plan reservations ahead and go hungry. We did not get to use the spa facility but we did take a look and can't wait to use it next time we stay. 5* all the way!
Great experience! Exceeded my expectations. Their attention to detail was impressive. I'm extremely picky and usually find something that I don't like, but not here!
