A Hidden Gem This has been one of the best properties I've ever lived in. A floorplan with a study or third bedroom can be hard to find in this area so this was a perfect fit from the start. The management is sincerely friendly, and always on top of any situation or request. The maintenance team is quick to respond to requests, always do a good job, and are friendly. Great place to live! Such a great place to live. It's quiet and I have great neighbors. Lots of closet space and big rooms. There's a gate attendant that works around the clock. The office staff are wonderful. They are more like friends/family than just people running the office. Maintenance is great too! Love those guys! They are always fast and friendly. Really happy with my choice to live here.

Perfect Place for Us After living in Houston for 9 weeks during the winter, my husband and I decided to move here. We looked at apartments and condos before returning to Virginia. I loved the Park at River Oaks at the first visit. Nothing else came close to having everything we were looking for. Our 3 bedroom apartment is a perfect home for us and our cat. Good but binding I have enjoyed living at PARO for 2 years with very few complaints. Maintenance is quick and effect, management investigates issues and resolves them in a timely manner, and the apartment amenities are family friendly (events, gym, pool, etc.). About halfway into my 2nd lease period at PARO, I began searching to buy a house. long term "home" - not just an apartment! Park at River Oaks used to be one of the few luxury apartments in this area. Now there are thousands of new units going in with "updates and amenities." PARO has amenities to match but is now considered "old." BIG MISTAKE to write this place off. They keep updating apartments to be competitive, but here's the deal - this location is PRIMO.
