The hippest place in Baltimore to see an alternative rock band is this scruffy, but chic, midtown establishment. The bar itself is very small, so many patrons stand or sit in front of the tiny stage, or wander around the multi-colored second and third floors. The bands are either unsigned locals or independent-label acts. All play loud and fast.

Incredible Venue, could use a little more hygiene maintenance.
LOVE THIS VENUE. My band left our bass amp and they had the courtesy to keep it there for us. You guys are amazing.
They KILL it. Best rock venue in Baltimore. ❤️Josh from Mothers
I like seeing bands at the Ottobar but some of the bar staff are total assholes. While they were trying to clear everyone out at closing time my friend was waiting to close her check and some dickhead bartender walked up to her out of the blue and screamed in her face to get the fuck out of the bar and to go the fuck home. How are they okay with employing someone who treats their customers this way?
