My experience with the leasing process was quite frustrating. The Concierge/Leasing team showed me the apartment, and I completed the application afterward. I then waited two days without receiving any response, which was stressful and disappointing. I also felt that assumptions were made about me based on my profession, which made the interaction awkward and uncomfortable. Have been living here since 2023. Undoubtably the best apartment in the heart of downtown in halifax. No issues with the unit and very spacious. Not to mention great management and reception
One of the best apartments I’ve lived in Halifax. Universal Realty Group has been by far the most professional and supportive rental agents I’ve dealt with. Their team is responsive and prompt whenever help is needed. I lived here for almost 1.5 years and never faced any issues. The building is always clean and well maintained — no unpleasant smells, no bugs, and no mice problems at all, which really matters. Even during move-out, the process was smooth. Please do not live here, the overpriced management does not deserve the price. My wardrobe was soaked and moldy by the dishwasher leaking from the unit next door and they took over a week to act. My range hood light bulb has not been replaced after 8 months of asking for it. I was told to move out after 3 years that I had to pay 588 dollars because they needed to replace the washing machine which was fully functional with only a tiny bit of rust around the bleach tank.
