After a few grueling hours wondering the galleries at MOMA, I can't think of a better place to grab a bite and hydrate. I believe that many of the people there had skipped the Art appetizer and were there for lunch only. It being New York, that says a lot about the quality of the food, service, and ambience.
The Chef's 8 course Tasting menu was unreal! Excellent service without pretense. Each course was not only amazing but presented like works of art. I think The Modern bests French Laundry!
If you are looking for a delightful dining experience, The Modern will exceed your expectations! Some Michelin star restaurants leave you disappointed but not so at The Modern! You may select from a 3, 4, or 6 prix fixe menu. Bonus, the price includes all hospitality and tip charges. I had the 6 for lunch which is a chef selected tasting menu.
