Trying to setup an appointment with a referral from Uconn and the memory center states it hadn't received referral from Uconn. Uconn is trying to contact Lisa in office about faxes but can't get anyone to answer the phone.
I waited 6 months for a neuropsych eval for memory loss, only to have it canceled a few days before. No one could reschedule it at the time. A week went by with no word. After placing multiple calls, I was finally told that they had no one to do the evaluation and I should look elsewhere. They did offer to make a referral, but no one has contacted me about that. CANCELLED MY APPT WHERE I DID NOT CANCELL
The providers ate great it is a real challenge getting timely appointments. Sadly the individuals who are challenged with memory issues and their loved ones, suffer greatly waiting excessive time assessment, diagnosis and a plan of care. It is difficult to understand waiting several months for an initial appoint and the several more before next. A year is far to long and unsafe.
I too am having a very difficult time trying to schedule appointments for my parents. Be prepared to wait months for any kind of help from this facility.
