At the Meating Place BBQ & Bakery, we believe barbecue is at its best when all of the powerful flavors combine and harmonize. RecommendedWe had dinner for the first time this evening and we all loved it. Great food, atmosphere, super friendly staff and the owner is such a nice guy! The HUGE tv was a big plus for watching the Astros win tonight!! Our family will make The Meating Place one our favorite eateries!!!
I just tried the Montgomery location. Great service and great BBQ. In my opinion, Meating Place BBQ is the bar that other BBQ stores should be judged against. Great job!
So, I posted on a foodie group that I needed brisket, many referred me to the meating place, I had to try them. They offered a free sample of 2 types of brisket. Guess what? I ended up buying another lb that I ate same day. I couldn’t stop. Their BBQ sauce is amazing! I highly recommend eating there, the smell of the place alone is mouth watering. I will definitely be there often especially because they only offer Grass fed Brisket meat.

Best barbecue I’ve had in a long time... and they jalapeño bun was soooooo yummy.
Dont be a snake and send people to the better bbq place down the street to write bad reviews about the facilities because you can't hold your own when it comes to business. Sad game to play when it comes to the competition down the street being voted "top 25 bbq" spots in Texas. Gdamn shame!!!
We normally eat at the Magnolia location, but decided to try the new location in Montgomery. The food is just as amazing, we will be back!
We have been to the new location in Montgomery twice now!!! Best BBQ around, especially the turkey! Husband loves their stuffed baked potato and the sliced beef. I loved the potato salad, made the same as I make mine, mustard but not too much. Baked beans were excellent. This will be our go to for BBQ.
Went to the Meating Place BBQ and Bakery in Montgomery today. Some of the best BBQ we have put in our mouths, If you like great BBQ give them a try.
