At the Meating Place BBQ & Bakery, we believe barbecue is at its best when all of the powerful flavors combine and harmonize. RecommendedI visited this establishment today, and all I can say is, I was blown away. First, the friendly greeting I received from the owner (which I didn’t know he was at the time) and the greeting from the employees. When I did dig in my plate, I was blown away for the second time by the taste, texture, and very flavorful food I was ingesting, very fast🤣😂 I had to slow down and just savor the taste. Messed up our order for at least the 6th time! After driving 20 min one way! Didn’t get half our food! 45 min and wrong! AGAIN!

We had the 3 meat plate brisket, pulled pork and sausage - we also got to try the ribs and turkey. Excellent Food Don’t forget dessert - chocolate pie is to die for. We will be back.
Finally got to try this bbq place!! Awesome food! Great service, got mine to go but the staff was super friendly and helpful. Very attentive to the dine in guests.

Bought 3 meat plate with brisket, turkey and jalapeño sausage. Sausage wasn’t spicy but good. Brisket and turkey very moist and tender. Had enough for 4 meals. Even day later and microwaved still moist. The pinto beans were great. Okra hot and fresh. Potato salad was really good. Well worth the trip and money
