The Meating Place is a brand new local barbecue restaurant in Pinehurst, Texas. Although the concept is new, the flavor has been perfected over many years. At the Meating Place BBQ & Bakery, we believe barbecue is at its best when all of the powerful flavors combine and harmonize. We match the right cut of meat with the right rub, wood, smoke, and sauce and cook to perfection in our patented 360 Smoker - that we've built ourselves.

The Precinct 5 Constables have always enjoyed the BBQ and service from the Meating Place. High recommend everyone trying this great establishment
Four of us went for the first time last night. We had the BBQ Potato, 1904, chopped beef, ribs and turkey. All was excellent. The turkey was very moist, the sliced beef was tender and we didn't have to pry the meat off the ribs. We will be back.
When they first opened, we were excited to have a BBQ place around the corner. They were great, but the last 3-4 visits we have been severely disappointed. Keep in mind we live maybe 5 minutes from them and the last 3 times our food has been cold. Tonight (12/22) we called and ordered a 2 meat plate(moist beef & sausage)and potato with moist beef on the side. This is our FAVORITE place for BBQ! We love it and love introducing our friends to it. if you haven't tried it, you have to!
I’ve been wanting to come out for quite some time now and just never did! I finally took my grandmother today and well, it didn’t disappoint!! She got the 1904 and I got the BBQ Potato, they were both amazing! Great food, great service! We will be back!
Best BBQ and awesome service. It was my first visit and will definitely come back again!
