10/10 food and service. They are so nice and helpful.
I go to this butcher shop very regularly, for two reasons. First, the quality of the welcome, always pleasant. It's a pleasure to chat with them, always smiling, with a kind word or a little joke. Second, the quality of their products, surely the best beef in the neighborhood. Where some butcher shops settle for stocking pre-packaged products, here they actually make their own. There are 2 butchers on this street and the one up the street has better prices on most meats, especially for chicken. The Meat Department has a lot of marianted and prepared meats and meals which I don't buy as a homecook, so those might be worth your time. The fried chicken sandwiches are overpriced now and extremely greasy. The staff are a mixed bag - some of them are excellent at helping customers whereas others can be sarcastic and condescending. Everything here is overpriced, quality of the produce is not any higher than your local grocery store butcher. They don't do custom cuts which.
Decent butcher shop. Sandwiches not available 75% of the time and when they are, the staff is very reluctant to make them and becomes hostile. Very strange attitude and behaviour to make the customer feel like a nuisance.
