Great place. Unfortunately no strippers or beer this time.
I went to The Bar for cocktails after work. The atmosphere and lighting was very nice. However, for some reason the music that was piped in was something you would hear at a bar on campus. I would've expected soft jazz or Rat Pack music to be more fitting with the clientele and setting. A change in the music would bring me back.
Always love staying here. We stay 3 or 4 times a year in the governors club. Zach the bartender is awesome, always clean rooms and if we ever need anything they are on top of it. Drinks and food is great and love waking up to breakfast. Sometimes you get a capitol view sometimes you don't. I don't stay there for what I can see out of my room. Will be back again next month!!!
I was on the 14th floor got a 2 bed room for my birthday. Figured treat myself this year. The governor's club itself has nice perks the free drinks at private lounge, free breakfast, golden elevator access. The staff was good, nice, friendly. But I was not satisfied with the room. For being top floor and an expensive room it was very small, the beds were right next to each other like a basic hotel room just dresser in between. I also didn't have a capitol view from room.
