The Lodges are pretty nice, except the management is disorganized and the hot tub should stay open later
Overall my experience here was good. I would recommend it to anyone but I would let them know to not count on the bus system. In the winter it will rarely come to phase 2, making you either late to class or not able to go. It is almost too far to walk to campus if the bus doesn't come. With the amount of rent we pay, the facilities should be five star but they start to get run down & the maintenance can't keep up. The lodges of east lansing is one of the worst companies I have ever worked with. From the start they have been giving my trouble from signing my lease, to over charging my rent, and being uncooperative. The management team is unresponsive and does not handle anything.......
Waste of money
So glad I chose to live at The Lodges, I get so much for my money. I don't have to buy an IM pass to workout or a bus pass. The residents and staff are friendly. I like how this place feels like a community. I love having my own room, bathroom and walk-in closet :) I got matched with great roommates! I know I will for sure be renewing my lease for next year too!
The Lodges is a great place to live! I am so happy I chose to live here :) Awesome new management staff, super friendly people, and the new CA's are really nice! Great location too! I live in phase 2 and its just as great as phase 1! The pool is great (especially because its SO HOT already this summer!) and having a gym, tanning, suana, hot tub, and free bus system is extremely convenient! Definitely happy I chose to live at the Lodges. Theres no doubt I'll renew my lease until I graduate! :)
The Lodges is an amazing place to live! Our amenities are well kept and are always being used by the residents that live here. My apartment is super cozy, having my own room, bathroom, and closet is such a luxury. Also, the location is prime for anyone students taking classes at LCC or MSU. Im excited to be a part of the Lodges community for this year and possibly next year!
