The name says it all. This bar and kitchen is a favorite with the locals in Coral Gables and throughout the rest of Miami. The bar features 24 different beers on tap, and the kitchen is equally impressive. The menu takes its inspiration from traditional bar foods, only classed up a notch or two, like their Brie "Mozzarella Sticks", Steak and Egg made with petit filet and tempura egg, or their bacon beignets for dessert. The Local was even voted to have the best bar food in Miami in 2012 by the Miami New Times.

This place has really gone down hill. $28 skirt steak was tough as nails with cold fries. Only 4 entrees to choose from. They were sold out of their $21 burger at 6 pm! Very disappointing. I heard they changed ownership. Sad....

Crispy Catfish Sandwhich was gangster AF! Held together perfectly with melted cheese.
Great raw bar selection. The oysters were delicious and fresh. Great service at the bar and loved the music the DJ was playing.
