Went to the Little Lion for the first time last Sunday for my sister's birthday breakfast. The food was AMAZING! However what was even better than the food, if that was possible, was the SERVICE! Our server Phil was FANTASTIC! He was very knowledgeable about the menu, extremely accommodating, and even brought my sister a birthday dessert on him! I'll definitely return on my next visit to Philly!

My mom asked me to choose a place for my birthday, I did research and saw The Little Lion had very good reviews. We were not disappointed. We both ordered the shortrib sandwich and it was wonderful. The meat was savory and tender paired with a fresh, melted Gouda cheese. The portion size was very good, the restaurant is very clean, everyone was very cordial, atmosphere is wam and inviting.

Food was good and restaurant was clean. The service is what made it an experience. Suggest asking for Phil as a waiter not only did he teach us about oysters but also was very knowledgeable about the area. Thanks Phil!!

Excellent value & service not only that the food was delicious and even though I had sliders I considered it the best mean I had in my nearly 3 weeks of travelling the East Coast of America! Oh and the happy hour specials say no more. Our particular server was so passionate about everything ad well!

Well, a beautiful day in Philly so decided to eat outside on the pavement. There wasnt any sign of a menu on the table or prices etc. There should have been. It was a bit confusing without the help of a waitress/waiter to start with, so on the advice of several staff inside we managed to get some food. The waitress who eventually came was excellent. Why wasnt there any sign telling customers that there was a buffet with a set price? The food was fine but the 81 dollar bill was spectactularly overpriced for two persons for a ... read more

I absolutely loved this place. The atmosphere was fantastic, our server (Stuart) did a great job, & the food was very good. My only complaint is that while the buttermilk fried chicken was excellently cooked, it lacked seasoning. Otherwise, everything I had was quite delectable!
