The Leaning Pear is owned and operated by Rachel and Matthew Buchanan, both native Texans and graduates of Texas A&M University. Upon graduation, the couple relocated to Perugia, Italy, to explore the tastes and techniques of Italian cuisine while teaching English for a year. They returned to the U.S. for Matthew to pursue a degree in Culinary Arts at the renowned Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. The Leaning Pear always has delicious food! On our trip to Wimberley this year it rained so we didn't get to sit outside on the beautiful deck which overlooks the creek. We went on burger night which was super yummy and another night we got the Hill Country Cobb salad which is delish! We always enjoy The Leaning Pear on our trips to Wimberley!
Had such great service both times I went in. My food was great loved it all!!
