The L stood for Lucky. Because that's how living here for 6+ years made us feel. We'd wake up to panoramic views of the skyline that rivaled downtown's most photographed spots. The management - from Star in 2018 to Zandra in 2024 - consistently brought the kind of warmth that separated a place to live from a place to call home. In my 5 years of living in various apartments around Raleigh, this place was probably my favorite. Great location and price. The apartments are well built (AKA I never heard my playing music next door) and well ran. For what I got at the price I got it, it could not be beat.
When Kane managed this place it was alright. Very little amenities but Star was great! When Kane sold the property to covenant properties it really went downhill. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I moved out 48 days ago and have been told twice that my security deposit is "in the mail" and its essentially on the U.S Postal service. I've never heard of a check being lost in the mail twice..especially after it was supposedly overnighted. I wouldn't call the L a luxury apartment but go ahead and take a look for yo... read more
