I had been looking for a property for awhile but hadn't yet partnered with a realtor. 2015 Update: Jay was my agent on a house I purchased in April 2014. I called him this week as I couldn't find something from my closing docs. Instead of pointing me back to an email or the mortgage company or the town, he readily offered to find the document for me and within 24 hours it was sitting in my email. My fiancé and I used Jay Morneault to help us buy a home in Malden. We came to Jay after first trying another agent, who we felt was not a good match. Jay was a lot of things for us. Jay is an excellent, attentive, responsive, and knowledgeable agent. As a first time home buyer, we had many questions throughout the entire process. Jay was responsive and available at all times via phone, text message, email and for in-person meetings. He provided us the personal attention we needed to navigate the process of buying a home and allowed us to take the driver seat when it came to negotiating within our comfort level. Jay is an exceptional realtor. As first time home buyers who were not only new to home buying but also to the area, Jay went out of his way to help us find the home that was right for us. Jay is fantastic. My husband and I looked at over 50 homes in the Wakefield, Melrose, Lynnfield and Reading area. After a couple of unpleasant experiences with local real estate agents, I was weary when I came across Jay at an open house, but he quickly won me over. I dealt with 3 realtors before I finally got some good luck and came across Jay at a house viewing. Jay is the man...ultra-responsive (emails always back within the hour), put zero pressure on me to buy, and was always honest on our house viewings.
