Great selection of beverages, friendly service, delicious and unique foods. The J. Clyde burger is incredible! I will definitely hope for excuses to come back here next time I'm in Birmingham.
The pub was hosting a private party but never put up a notice on their front door indicating this. When we walked in a slim middle-aged lady in a black dress with a condescending attitude and a nose pointing skywards instructed us to kindly make our way to the back. We decided the back patio wasn't for us so we made a beeline for the exit. We tried going out of the side entrance so as not to disturb the lady and her compatriots but we were ordered by a server to head back the same way we came in. Cool place. But waited almost two hours for a salad. Kitchen doesn't seem capable to handle the place at packed capacity.
Great food and great beer. Too bad the service is shitty as hell.
