My wife and I moved here from Portland, and we only had about 2 months to find a place in town, and we wanted to buy. Matt and Tom Hume sold our Fircrest house in 2 days at asking price!! They provided great communication throughout the entire selling process and helped to find contractors that could assist with a couple of things needing fixed. I would recommend them 100% to anyone selling a home in the Tacoma, WA area!!

Dealt with Tom and Matt Hume on the sale of my home. They responded within ten minutes of when I called, visited an hour later. They came back with the comparable sales data and a listing protocol that afternoon. Gave me advice on proper pricing and staging. I wanted a quick sale, for the right price, of my home in the Proctor District. Not having sold a house in over 20 years, I wanted to work with people I trust who would look after my interests and educate me about selling in 2014. Tom and Matt helped me set a price that brought in so much interest that, after just three days, we had multiple offers. We used "The Hume Group" to buy our first house and were amazed by the service. Before The Hume Group we probably went through about four different Real Estate agents and were surprised by how..... well.... unmotivated(?) they all were. No one seemed to know anything about the properties we were looking at, no one followed up, they all just opened the front door and... that was about it. Not the case with Tom Hume. Tom knew the market, didn't hesitate to push for my price, both as a seller and buyer, was quick to show me homes, and recommended excellent lenders, inspectors and other experts. I couldn't have been happier.
