Withholding our deposit under false pretenses. Refuses to refund money back, doesn’t ever answer calls and doesn’t follow a court order when it comes to returning deposit.
Business response:
There are laws regarding security deposits. In this case the tenant did not move out according to an agreement in court. An eviction was being filed. They had a dog in a property they were not suppose to have leaving damage to the property. Tenants were filthy dirty. Dog peed on the floor. Will be pursuing about 2,000$ in damages. Do not rent to this tenant.
Angela is AWESOME!!! I had put in several phone calls to property management companies in Toledo and couldn't even get a call back. Not only did she call me back within the hour, she made me a priority and visited my property same day and conducted a full scope of work. Great property management company for smaller real estate investors, have used for 7 years.
Every bad thing you hear is true. They do not do repairs without you having to get hostile. They never answer the phone and have no way to leave messages. The only thing they do is collect rent. Everything else is a fight. The "contractor" she uses is her son, who isn't any easier to reach than she is. It is such a nightmare that writing this review is painful. Well, I found this in an attempt to contact Angela, my landlord. She owns Bedford Estates off Dean Road since April 2019. I have always been courteous and on time with rent, and I'm behind on rent this month bc I've been off work 3 weeks. I have payment lined up plus a ridiculous $325 fee she charged for replacing a broken adult toilet with a child's. An organization working to pay the rent plus the maintenance fee, on my behalf, has tried contacting her for several days now with no reply. I'm not sure what else to do beside... read more
The owner cut all of her wonderful staff that actually cared about the renters some time in early fall and has since moved everything online. It was awful to try to get anyone to come to the property for repairs before when you could talk to actual people. But since everything is now online, including house repairs, and you can NEVER get a hold of the owner it is impossible to get anything done. Except pay rent, of course. Angela is as bad of a business owner as she is a property manager. She lies, about everything, she goes against court orders, she makes up bogus charges unreasonable prices, she doesn't do necessary repairs without the threat of court and even then she tries to get in right before to do them to make herself look good, she only has a cell phone and purposely keeps her mailbox full so no one can leave a message, and she doesn't reply to text messages.
