Your employees are the foundation of your company. To allow one customer to verbally assault your employee is disgusting enough, but to fire that employee is even more deplorable. I will never spend a penny of my money in your store! Your managers obviously need better training on resolving these type of situations. If you had any business sense at all you would fire the manager and give this man his job back. Boycotting ALL of your locations.
I spend thousands of dollars annually in your Central Avenue store. I have always found the staff to be exceptionally courteous. It sounds like this employee deserved more loyalty than you showed. I will be shopping elsewhere from now on. And not at Home Depot. Change your decision and make this right. It can happen.
I can’t say I am surprised by the news of how you fired a long-time employee for refusing to tolerate racist verbal abuse by a customer, but you should be ashamed of yourselves as employers and human beings. I will not continue to take my business to Home Depot and will share this with everyone I know until a public apology has been issued and this employee has been reinstated.
Your actions with regard to terminating that employee this week are completely despicable. You have lost many customers. You don't deserve this man as your employee... Lowe's just got alot of new customers. SHAME ON YOU.

The recent termination of a long-time and loyal employee (Maurice Rucker)... Just bought Home Depot a boycott until that gentleman is awarded his position back along with a bonus of a week's pay. 31+ year's as a Safety Management Consultant and I am bedazzled that you didn't FIRST review and update your policies that were in place. Credibility is so hard to earn yet so easy to lose. Lowe's it is!!!
