What a way to treat your employees. Disappointed that you fired a loyal employee after he was a victim of racism. The interaction prob lasted a matter of minutes and you expect him to go track down a manager to help him deal with this bigot?
Fired a 10 year employee Maurice Rucker, because he didn't take the racist abuse a customer put on him??? I won't be shopping at Home Depot again.
Went into the store today and heard about what happened to Maurice- not just the abuse he took from a belligerent and racist customer, but your response in firing him. With all the talk of companies doing training to teach their employees about racial bias and sexual harassment- where is the protection for your employees? I am sure they are taught that the Customer always right and that customer service is the priority.
