Everytime I go here, I am reminded why i stopped. No customer service unless you are a contractor. There is one nice older lady there, usually at a regester, that should be in charge of customer service as she has it down to a science. As for everyone else, blah. Went in with the intentions of dropping $5000 for a bathroom renovation and now you will get $0 of it. Your folks tend to hide when asked for assistance. No Customer service.. My wife and I visited Home Depot in Matthews.. horrible experience. I asked a lady to please find someone who could help us in plumbing. She said she would and we waited only to find her and 2 other home depot ladies discussing their break times.. What a shame.. Home Depot used to be all about customer service.. so I'm off to Lowes now..
Home depot. Brought the wrong item to register. Told cashier I would take it back myself to get replacement. She says: Good. Go take a walk and burn calories so you can eat more cookies. Never going back.
Wen to The Home Depot to finish an important project but needed some experienced guidance. After looking around my aisle for a helper, there was no one. After finding and flagging someone down who said she would get someone- there was no one. After a final attempt to get anyone's attention in the main walkway hands in the air- I gave up. Local hardware stores for me from now on.
ELS: The Matthew's NC Home Depot does not support veterans! I was in the store with my wife on 6/15/14 buying $1,000 worth of stuff for our newly purchased house when the store clerk refused my VA card because it did not have my picture on it and i have my NC license as well to show. I asked to speak to manager and she pulls out a book a points to a page and rudely tells us if it's not on this page you can't get the veteran discount. I had a USMC tattoo for Pete's sake.
