1 star is being nice. I moved to Matthews NC 3 years ago and have always had much success with Home Depot in the other cities that I've lived. This store should be called the self serve store because you can never find anybody to help or if you do their useless. I found a front door from Steves and Sons that I love. Went to the store 2 times, waited 15 minutes each time. I need to know cost and advice. Guess what, no body there. My time is very valuable to me and I don't have time to waste. Very unfriendly and unhelpful staff. They don't seem to like working there and it shows. I take my business to stores that believe in good customer service
I have always a wonderful experience at home depot.
Came in at 6:15am for a specific purchase and the aisle I needed to get down was temporarily closed. I waited a few minutes and never saw anyone so I left empty handed.
Rude cashier and manager. Stopped the 5% competitor discount! Way to push our business back to Lowe's!
Everytime I go here, I am reminded why i stopped. No customer service unless you are a contractor. There is one nice older lady there, usually at a regester, that should be in charge of customer service as she has it down to a science. As for everyone else, blah. Went in with the intentions of dropping $5000 for a bathroom renovation and now you will get $0 of it. Your folks tend to hide when asked for assistance. No Customer service.. My wife and I visited Home Depot in Matthews.. horrible experience. I asked a lady to please find someone who could help us in plumbing. She said she would and we waited only to find her and 2 other home depot ladies discussing their break times.. What a shame.. Home Depot used to be all about customer service.. so I'm off to Lowes now..
Home depot. Brought the wrong item to register. Told cashier I would take it back myself to get replacement. She says: Good. Go take a walk and burn calories so you can eat more cookies. Never going back.
