As a rule I usually love going to this store till my husband and I purchased a door/w installation on May 16th and were told it would be installed in 10days, well they are coming out June 28th! Absolutely unacceptable, my husband a 20+ Veteran didn't even get his discount! So be careful people what you buy, and what department you shop in, because they don't have a clue what they're doing. Quote one thing, charge and do another!! ����
I give it a star just because we were asked if we needed help when we walked in. The rest of the visit shall I review....the employee cutting carpet in department 23 yes flooring was operating the cutter unsafely, same for the employee who was cutting blinds. I had to help a customer select the proper faucet for their project (mind you I no longer work for HD), paint had no one covering it and the associate who was suppose to was not answering pages or calls. Home Depot is selling your telephone numbers to remodelers who cold call you saying they spoke to you in the store. I told her BULLSHIT!!! I am a black female and the people at any of these stores hardly even speak to me!!!! If I can sue your funky ass store I would, that said, if you are an attorney seeking clients for this invasion of privacy, please contact me. I would like to file a lawsuit for them doing this repeatedly.
So this review isn't about the store itself but about the "do it herself" class that was offered yesterday. The class was supposed to be from 6:30-8:30p. I left the class at 9:00 and wasn't even finished with the succulent garden project. I had informed the Home Depot Associate (who was teaching the class) at 8:30 that I needed help finishing the project so I could head home to my Infant son and she said she would help but then walked away helping others with their projects.
