Placed an online order for same day pick up, and it took them close to 3 hours to get my small simple order. While I stood there, a lady ordered something and it took them 10 minutes to complete her order. I would have been better off getting it myself or going to the competitor.
Great store, super friendly staff. Ron in appliances was awesome when we ordered our washer and dryer...BUT YOU HAVE GOT TO CONTRACT A NEW DELIVERY SERVICE. We're going on 3 weeks now without said washer and dryer because the delivery guys showed up a FULL HOUR early before the appointed window, refused to wait even 15 minutes and then LIED about it saying we told them we wouldn't be home for hours. Now they're suddenly two hours away and unable to come back for another week...even though they claim to have been at our house... read more
What a difference a store makes! I left Lowe's this morning in tears because i thought i would never get any help with my kitchen project. We went into Home Depot after canceling our fridge at Lowe's to simply order a new fridge. We were greeted at the door and directed to the appliance center. Then in the appliance center the lady came up to us to see if she could find what we needed. The fridge is scheduled to come in 3 days before Lowe's would of delivered it. Military people should not go there...if you didn't retire from the military or if you are not active duty you do not get a military discount. The assistant store manager told me this. So if you served and left and didn't retire then you don't count, your service doesn't count, your DD214 is worthless to them. Wait until I call corporate. And I was insulted and embarrassed at the check out counter. I left over $500 in merchandise and walked out.
Home depot needs to improve their home delivery system in Vermont. Better communications, updates on status, and a more reliable carrier service. Spirit Logistics, the Vermont warehouse, created a 7 day delay with no updates throughout the week. On the day of delivery the truck was 5 hours late. Delivery personnel used hand truck on the wrong side of the fridge, bending coils.
