Store 1902 in Evanston is the best HD in the area by far. From Andrew in the lot to Ms. Joy at the registers they are friendly and helpful. I’ve had a couple of people that didn’t know something, but they didn’t disappear on me they found someone else to help.
I was just going to pick out kitchen cabinets and appliances this week in Evanston . However because of the remarks made by that man . I am going to use my brains and go to another big box store.
Had plans today until we needed help getting lumber cut.
I will no longer shop at this store, the sales associates need re-training! A scheduled delivery resulted in the wrong product being delivered! Called store to rectify and spoke to THREE people before a new delivery date was given, of course they chose not to refund my delivery charge!
I received the best customer service when I purchased my washer and dryer recently. HOWEVER, whoever they contract with to do their delivery and installations is complete CRAP. They have canceled my appointment TWICE already... and with the same excuse: "Delivery man got injured". I called them out on their bullshit and had nothing to say. I am almost ready to cancel my order all together and buy from Lowes or Sears just so I don't have to deal with such a dishonest delivery and installation service.
